On the surface, internet memes are a ubiquitous source of light entertainment – a way for people to express themselves through cleverly remixed templates of text, images and videos. They are arguably the wallpaper of our social media feeds and often provide us with a few minutes of idle, amusing fodder for procrastination during our day. Selfish people have an uncanny ability to manipulate those around them. They know how to make people feel guilty or indebted to them so that they can get what they want without having to put in much effort. This type of manipulation is often done subtly, so those being manipulated don’t even realize what’s happening. This manipulative behavior can often result in the selfish person getting ahead because they can convince others that their own interests should be prioritized over everyone else’s. But selfish people, having huge egos, will always look for ways to stand out and exaggerate their achievements.If you continually hang out with selfish people, you might become selfish yourself.
