About this deal

Exalted Bloodletters are more powerful Bloodletters who were among the foremost of Khorne's followers in their mortal lives, said to possess a will as implacable and blood-hungry as the Blood God himself. Exalted Bloodletters gather in their own regiments, chanting brutal prayers to their Bloodfather. In the fashion of the mortal Chaos Warriors they once were, each unit marches beneath a blood-soaked banner upon which the names of those they have slain are inscribed. [5a] Bloodletters always fight with terrible magical swords known as Hellblades, laughing as the blades slice into the flesh of their foes. [2a] These weapons may take the form of a blade, axe or any manner of melee weapon. Bloodletters might even fight with tooth and claw, for they care not how the blood is spilt, only that it flows. [4a] The Hellblade is formed from the Bloodletter's own magical essence and can never be discarded nor torn from its grasp. Each life taken by the Hellblade strengthens the Bloodletter, fuelling both its power and rage. As such, a Bloodletter is even more terrifying at a battle's close than its start, having gorged itself on the slaughter it has caused, overwhelmed by the need to take more skulls for Khorne. However, the craving for skulls, bloodshed and competing for personal glory and the glory of Khorne in battle usually turns this discipline into frenzy once they charge the enemy. Bloodletters are notorious for their fearsome advances and ferociously brutal charges but are also capable of vile and low tactics. [1] [2] [3]

It is said that when Khorne created U'Zuhl, the Bloodletter's first act was to chop the head from the first creature he met -- another Bloodletter. So began an existence of decapitation that has spread terror throughout the mortal and immortal universes. In the midst of battle, Skulltaker always seeks out the mightiest of the enemy's warriors. He fought alongside the Daemon Primarch Angron on Armageddon during the First War for Armageddon, felling a quarter of the Grey Knight Space Marines present. On Agripinia-6, Skulltaker slew the Ork Grimsnag Urk after butchering the Greenskin Warlord's armoured bodyguard. Seventeen Eldar Exarchs fell to his blade during the fighting at Haranshemash. Every race has its legends concerning the Skulltaker, and all are filled with terror. Exalted Bloodletters are sometimes known to mount Juggernauts, the mechanical brass Daemonic beasts of Khorne. Regiment of Juggernaut-mounted Exalted Bloodthirsters are known as Bloodcrushers of Khorne. Exalted Bloodletters are also seen mounted on top of Blood Shrines, inspiring their lesser kin from Khorne's unholy altars.
