About this deal

Over a third of the Star Wars sets currently available will be retiring this year, with a total of 27 leaving shelves. Whether you’re a valiant rebel fighter or a temptingly powerful Sith Lord, there’s no better way to showcase your loyalty – or demonstrate your LEGO building prowess – than with our range of beautifully crafted LEGO® Star Wars™ Helmets. As with all of the LEGO Star Wars Helmets, no minifigures are included with the set. This is not the section you are looking for. Move along, move along. — Price — Build your collection - This set is part of a series of collectible LEGO Star Wars build-to-display helmet models, each offering a fun and immersive creative experience

Unlike the Batman cowls, Luke’s helmet looks very smart, capturing the iconic details incredibly well. It’s not without its faults, though: the ridge at the top is perhaps a little small compared to its on-screen counterpart and, while a very valiant attempt, the trans-orange goggles don’t quite work.As the first attempt at an open-faced helmet within the Star Wars universe, 75327 Luke Skywalker (Red Five) Helmet is a success. It looks pretty accurate, is full of authentic detailing and captures the unmistakable look of the X-wing pilot’s headgear very well. Designing it to resemble a helmet on a plinth rather than a hybrid between a full head and helmet like the Batman cowls was a smart move that’s paid off. This is LEGO’s first Rebel and open-face helmet, as previous inclusions have mostly been Imperial-flavoured, but it instantly makes a huge impact when you see it. Other highly rated sets are also leaving, such as the Inquisitor Transport Scythe and Razor Crest. Set # It’s unmistakably Luke’s helmet, and any Star Wars fan should be proud to have this on display. Other Lego sets to consider

The bright colours, and contrasty pops of red, yellow and white detail look great against the mostly white helmet, and like others in the collection, the helmet is perched on a sturdy stand. Show your respect for a fearless 501st Legion Clone Commander with the build-and-display Captain Rex Helmet (75349) model, straight out of Star Wars: The Clone Wars™ and into your hands. Capture the smooth metallic sheen of beskar armor as you build a stunning LEGO recreation of the Mandalorian’s™ helmet (75328), and pair it with a buildable Dark Trooper Helmet (75343) as seen in Star Wars: The Mandalorian™ Season 2. The open face nature of the helmet is brand new territory for LEGO, and they’ve done a decent job here with it, and it doesn’t feel as empty like the LEGO Batman cowls. Among these is the UCS Republic Gunship, and if previous UCS sets are anything to go by, this set could jump up in price when it hits the aftermarket. So if you're wanting to add the Gunship to your collection, now's the time to do so. Prepare to take on the Empire with the Luke Skywalker (Red Five) Helmet (75327) – or if you're yearning for the dark side, let our menacing replica of the mighty Darth Vader™ Helmet (75305) be your ultimate symbol of power.Step-by-step guide - Are you a newcomer to LEGO construction sets? No problem. There are clear, illustrated instructions in the box, so you can build with the confidence of a Jedi Master At the moment the popular AT-TE walker is due to leave us in the middle of 2024, so that's one to keep a close eye on. Set # Each diorama depicts action from recognizable Star Wars™ locations, complete with authentic details to bring the display to life. Join Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia and Chewbacca to escape the Death Star’s trash compactor, complete Jedi training alongside Luke and Yoda on Dagobah, or fly through the forests of Endor™ on a speeder bike. Whichever scene you choose to recreate, a rewarding and nostalgic building experience awaits!

Fans of the LEGO Star Wars Helmet collection are in for a treat in 2022, with three all-new helmets to add to their collection, and in the next few days, I’ll be reviewing them all on the blog! If this set was priced slightly cheaper, it would feel like better value for money. Whether that will be an issue comes down to what you place more importance on when purchasing a set: if it’s the final model then this will prove to be a decent buy. If it’s the build, you might want to look at other, more involved helmets before this one. — Pictures — I didn’t really like the chin strap, and the microphone/communicator, as they’re quite flimsy, and I found them constantly dislodging themselves while I was handling the helmet. I actually think the helmet looks better without them. This set included clear instructions so you can relax and enjoy the construction of this Red Five Star Wars decoration. And when you’re ready for another building mission, look out for the other new LEGO Star Wars helmets.Special thanks to the LEGO Group for providing this set for review 75327 Luke Skywalker (Red Five) Helmet Set Details If you’re a Star Wars fan, and looking for a great display piece that isn’t a ship, or large UCS model, I can highly recommend this set, especially if you have the other Helmets from the collection. The orange visor is probably the least accurate, as the dip in the middle feels too deep, but I learned from the designers that this was a particularly challenging part of the model, as they needed to use trans-orange elements, that were as clear as possible, and many iterations led to this one. There is a lovely foreword and introduction by LEGO Star Wars Creative Director, Jens Kronvold Frederiksen, and the iconic shot of the X-Wings on the Death Star trench run. Feel the power of your creative Force as you build the Star Wars collectible Luke Skywalker Red Five Helmet (75327), LEGO set for adults. This buildable model of Luke’s iconic pilot headgear is the first-ever hero helmet or open helmet in the LEGO Star Wars Helmet Collection.
