About this deal

Oban Bay Reserve: Deep, rich notes of cherry pie and candied citrus peel blossom on the palate, drifting into a wonderful crème caramel with just a hint of charred oak. Palate: Very sweet and a little earthy up front, with some dried banana, strong smoke, clove, burnt caramel, salty dark caramel, and lots of saline maritime goodness, with mint, cannabis, and lanolin peeking through. The long finish is oddly cooling and refreshing, with spearmint, eucalyptus, ash, and salt. Very fun.

Talisker Select Reserve: Dry Sichuan pepper smoke and dark chocolate aromas on the nose. The palate has a distinctive maritime quality enhanced by caramel notes, spice, smoke, and fruit. The finish is lingering and complex with a leathery character.Royal Lochnagar 12 Year Old: Subtle aromas of oak and candied spice on the nose. The palate is a harmonious abundance of fruit and spice enhanced by creamy v flavors of vanilla, coffee and a touch of baking spice. The finish is elegant with a subtle nutmeg, dessert note. Lagavulin 9 Year Old: Sweet smoke on the nose with a whiff of sea breeze. The palate is smoky with notes of caramelized banana, smooth vanilla and charred marshmallow. The finish is dry and light with subtle salted caramel. A great opportunity to collect all 9 bottles released as part of the final season of HBO's Game of Thrones series. In collaboration with Diageo, nine iconic, limited release single malts have been paired with the 7 kingdoms of Westeros and the Night's Watch, to create a truly unique collection that's a must for series fans and serious collectors alike.

Tasting Notes: Game of Thrones Single Malt Scotch Whisky Collection House Tully – Singleton of Glendullan Select Capturing the House Stark is Dalwhinnie, one of the highest distilleries in Scotland that mirrors House Stark’s resiliency, strength and ability to thrive under the most frigid, extreme temperatures. House Targaryen is aptly paired with legendary Scotch house Cardhu. Scotland's own mother of dragons, the rebellious Helen Cumming, trail-blazed the success in making Cardhu one of the most iconic names in Scotch. This limited edition collection features eight new single malt scotch whiskies, each paired with a House of Westeros as well as The Night’s Watch. The bottles will be accompanied with a tube to hold each whisky featuring the sigil and words for each House. CLYNELISH RESERVE Mark: “It only takes a little bit of imagination to link the whisky to the House it represents. For example: linking Talisker to the House Greyjoy makes sense. Talisker is a coastal distillery on the Isle of Skye, while the House Greyjoy are a sea-faring people that worship the Drowned God and live on the coast of the Iron Islands. The collection makes sense from this point of view.Clynelish distillery’s landscape echoes the geography of House Tyrell’s green and fertile HighGarden home in the land of Westeros. This single malt has an underlying, complex combination of Highland and maritime notes, complemented by bursts of fresh tropical fruits that give way to a smooth vanilla character.

Cardhu Gold Reserve: Notes of baked apple and spice on the nose, the palate has rich caramel notes with subtle apple, clove and a hint of nuttiness. The finish is dry and light with a sweet caramel finish. The most striking of all the bottles would have to be White Walker by Johnnie Walker. The Scotch blend was created by whisky specialist George Harper along with a small team of expert blenders at Johnnie Walker. Included in the blend are single malts from Cardhu and Clynelish, the latter being one of the most northern distilleries in Scotland. White Walker is designed to be served directly from the freezer and the bottle features a “temperature-sensitive ink technology”. When the bottle is frozen, it will display the graphic icy reveal. Nose: Shy and nectar-like. Marzipan croissant, cheese Danish, brioche, plus freshly waxed hardwood floor and clean wool sweater. Creamy, toasty, strange, and a bit tingly in the nose. Made by various distilleries under the Diageo umbrella, these eight single malts were chosen to commemorate the final season of one of the greatest shows in TV history. THIS IS THE COMPLETE FINAL EDITION WITH THE LATEST BOTTLE TO MAKE 9 BOTTLES IN TOTAL - BEWARE OF OTHER SETS WHICH ONLY CONTAIN 8 BOTTLES Palate: Again, that classic Oban chocolate-orange thing is front and center, but there’s some extra lactic tang in the finish reminiscent of leesy chardonnay. The finish is strong, with yeasty bread, shortbread, and a drying sensation that invites another sip. Lean and muscular. A little bit plain, but nicely enjoyable.

This complete collection also includes a set of tasting samples of all nine single malts, and all three limited edition Johnnie Walker Whiskies that were also released in collaboration with the hit TV show. Each of the twelve 25ml miniature tasting tubes are housed in a beautiful presentation box and come with a tasting booklet. Enrico: “Collecting the GOT whisky is definitely fun, all the different label, edition, names - they all appeal in different ways. But I think that it's smart to buy what tastes good, or what we believe is likely to be good whisky to drink.” This rare limited edition collection is perfect for Scotch lovers and Game of Thrones fans alike. Prepare yourself for the final battle for the fate of the Seven Kingdoms with this incredible set of Game of Thrones inspired Scotch whiskies.Palate: Mild, building to a malt-driven peak with fresh berries and a touch of crisp citrus. Full-bodied and artful. The tapering, malt-driven finish has biscuits with marmalade, nutmeg, and some nice evolved woody tannin. An interesting mix of confectionery, fruit, and holiday baking space, integrated and textured.
