About this deal

It was easy to maneuver this mop on the floor and around a dining table, despite its neck being on the stiffer side. Although a similar thing occurred on the grout tile floor, the mop appeared to be less effective on that surface compared to the hardwood. You can spin the mop handle in water to rinse any dirt and filth from the cleaning mess, then spin the mop dry in the wringer in seconds. Best of all, you can detach the mop head and put it in your washing machine, so it’s always as clean as possible and isn't left sitting in a damp mop bucket collecting mold and mildew!

The mop handle stainless steel and can be adjusted to height and locked in position to make it a more comfortable tool for different sized people. The spinning mechanism allows for the mop head to be thoroughly wrung out, reducing the amount of dirty water that is spread around during cleaning,” says Schulz. Thanks to its swivel steering, the mop head was able to squeeze into those tight corners and reach further without us having to bend over or expend too much energy.

Goods do not come with any guarantee or warranty whatsoever other than implied by law for business to business sales. Excluding picking up the chunks of marinara sauce and mud (as expected), this mop did a thorough job of cleaning up the remaining parts of the stains.

We were also pleasantly surprised by how well this mop cleaned the stains off the hardwood floor—it only took one pass for the apple juice and two for the canola oil and butter. The Vileda Turbo spin mop removes over 99% of Bacteria with JUST water* thanks to the microfibres in the pad. The push-down action generates around 1,000 rotations per minute, but only requires 3 to 4 wrings to be fully dry.

We used only water (cool or warm depending on manufacturer instructions) first to see if the stain or how much of each stain could be cleaned up without the use of a cleaning solution. This material will not scratch surfaces, and it removes tough dirt and grime, leaving no streaks behind! It was also able to clean stains on hardwood floors in less than 12 passes each (just two for the apple juice, canola oil, and marinara sauce).Compared to current bucket-and-press systems, the UltraSpeed Pro flat mopping system outperforms them in every aspect. We started by pouring a ¼ cup of water onto the floor and monitoring how well each mop was able to absorb the water as well as how quickly it was able to do so. The spinning action means that you can easily, naturally rotate those fibres as you mop, and spin them into every corner, nook and cranny without having to constantly rotate and roll it to reach those areas like you do with a traditional fixed-head mop. Although this mop impressed us with its ease of use, it is important to note that due to the mop pads spinning at a flat plane, this mop is unable to get into the cracks of both the tile and wood.

We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases. However, “most manufacturers recommend changing spin mop heads every three months,” explains Gomasi. The Flash 16L Mop Bucket has a handy pouring spout to aid emptying and a clip to hold the mop in place after use. During testing, we noticed that the handle was not adjustable, but did not find this to be problematic as the mop still had a long reach. This electric spin mop is designed to eliminate pet messes, but we found it effective at eliminating all kinds of messes.
